Terms of Service

The following Terms of Service (the "Agreement") govern your access to and use of HT Vector Soft’s websites, software, and services (collectively referred to as the "Service"). By accessing, installing, registering, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, do not use the Service.

Copyright and Ownership

The Service is licensed to you, not sold. HT Vector Soft owns all rights to the Service, including intellectual property rights protected under copyright laws and international treaties. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of the Service may result in civil or criminal penalties.

Registration

For apps with an online dashboard, such as HT Family Shield and HT Task Vector, registration is required to access all features. During registration, you must provide an email address and create a password. This account enables you to manage settings and access data through the online dashboard.

For apps without an online dashboard, such as HT Parental Controls, HT System Administrator, and HT Work Focus, no registration is required. You can download and install these apps on your computer(s) without creating an account.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password for apps with online dashboards. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You may not use another person’s HT Vector account without their permission.

Use of the Service

You acknowledge and agree to use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with this Agreement. Violation of any terms may result in the termination of your account without prior notice or refund.

HT Vector Soft is not responsible for any content posted on or through the Service, and you agree to use the Service at your own risk. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. HT Vector Soft reserves the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, fees, charges, or availability, without prior notice or liability. HT Vector Soft may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts or all of the Service at its sole discretion.

You further acknowledge that you have the required legal capacity to use the Service and accept liability under this Agreement. You must not violate any applicable laws in your jurisdiction while using the Service.

If you fail to comply with these provisions or misuse the Service, HT Vector Soft reserves the right to delete or block your account at any time, without prior notice or explanation. In such cases, HT Vector Soft may, as a contractual penalty, retain any payments made for the Service. You agree that you will not be entitled to any compensation or refunds in these circumstances.

Responsibility Clauses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal activities or in violation of any local, state, or national laws.
• Install the software on devices you do not own or lack explicit permission to monitor.
• Monitor individuals without their knowledge or consent.
• Impersonate others or engage in harassment through or on the Service.
• Collect or store data about other users of the Service without their consent.
• Use any device, software, or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the Service.
• Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Service’s infrastructure.
• Use the Service in any manner not expressly authorized by this Agreement.
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service for commercial purposes without explicit permission from HT Vector Soft.

Licenses and Subscription

• When you purchase the Service, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service.
• Your subscription begins when your purchase is completed for online payments or, in the case of offline payments, when payment is received.
• To ensure uninterrupted service, all subscriptions are renewed automatically when a subscription term ends.An email notification will be sent to you in advance of the renewal, allowing you time to manage your subscription.
• You will receive an email notification several days before your subscription is due for renewal. This notification will provide details of the upcoming billing. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges by using the link provided in the email notification or by contacting us at support@ht-vector.com.
• You can suspend auto-renewal at any time via your payment account. If you suspend auto-renewal, your subscription will remain active until the end of the term you have already paid for, after which no further charges will be made.
• You can reactivate your subscription at any time through your payment account or make a new purchase in our store.
• Changes to the product price will not affect existing subscriptions for their current term.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your payment account or by contacting our support team at support@ht-vector.com.
• Credit card details can be updated by logging into your payment account.
• Your subscription includes coverage for a specified number of devices. Additional protection updates and features may be added during the subscription period.
• When your subscription ends, you are required to uninstall the software from all devices on which it was installed after the conclusion of the current payment term.
• Upon cancellation, your HT Vector account, along with all associated data, may be deleted within one month.
• Number of Computers:
  Subscribers must ensure that the total number of computers with the Software installed does not exceed the maximum number of authorized seats purchased from HT Vector Soft. Licenses are limited to a specific number of devices. Each computer, workstation, virtualized desktop, or hardware running multiple operating systems counts as an individual workstation toward the total device count.
  For installations on a Terminal Server, the license is user-based, and a separate license is required for each user accessing the software.
  If the Software is installed on more computers or used by more users than authorized by the purchased license, HT Vector Soft will issue a warning to the subscriber. The subscriber must either uninstall the Software from the additional devices or purchase additional licenses within the specified time. Failure to act on the warning may result in the suspension or blocking of the license.

Refund Policy

HT Vector Soft offers a 15-day return policy for all new purchases. If you are dissatisfied with our service, you may request a full refund within 15 days of the original purchase date.

Additionally, we provide refunds for the latest auto-renewal if requested within 15 days of the renewal date. To initiate a refund, please contact our support team at support@ht-vector.com with your purchase details and the reason for your refund request.

Refunds will be processed promptly, and the credited amount will typically appear in your original payment method within 7-10 business days after approval.

14-day Free Trial

You may install and use a 14-day free trial of the software exclusively for evaluation and testing purposes. After this period, you must either discontinue use by uninstalling and deleting the software or purchase a valid license.

You are strictly prohibited from attempting to extend the functionality or bypass the time limitations of the trial version in any manner.

The trial is limited to one per organization or individual, not per computer. You are allowed to install it on multiple devices as necessary for testing purposes.

Please note that HT Vector Soft does not guarantee support for trial versions of the software.

Distribution Rights

You may distribute copies of the evaluation software only in its original form and solely for evaluation. You are not allowed to modify or reverse-engineer the software or charge fees for its distribution.

Legal Compliance

By using the Software, you agree to comply with the following legal requirements:

Ownership and Permission: You may install the Software only on computers that you own or have explicit permission to monitor.

User Notification: You must inform all users of the monitored computers that their activity is being recorded. Failure to do so may violate local, state, or federal laws.

Jurisdictional Variations: Logging or monitoring an individual's computer activity without their knowledge may be considered illegal in certain provinces, states, or jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with applicable laws.

Authorized Use: The Software is designed for use by authorized system administrators, security managers, or owners of the monitored computers.

HT Vector’s Liability: HT Vector Soft assumes no liability for any misuse of the Software. Users bear full responsibility for any consequences of unlawful use.

By agreeing to this License Agreement, you accept full responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

HT Vector Soft and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any damages, claims, or costs arising from your use of the Software or Services. This includes, but is not limited to, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; loss of profits, savings, information, or data; and any other intangible losses.

These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. However, they do not exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

This provision shall survive the termination of this Agreement.

Updates and Support

Commitment to providing updates and support during active subscriptions ensures user satisfaction and legal clarity.

Term and Termination

This agreement will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with any of the limitations or requirements outlined herein. Upon termination or expiration of this agreement, you must immediately cease all use of the software and permanently destroy and/or delete all copies. Violation of this license agreement will result in the termination of all guarantees and the license without the right to a refund.
