How to Reset or Change the Access Password
If you forgot your password, you can log into HT Work Focus with a default password and then change it:
For the trial version, enter into the login window the default password — trial2013.
To change your password, click Menu → Set Password
HT Work Focus Does Not Block Certain Websites
There can be a few reasons. Please check the following:
- The URL in your list is equal to the actual site URL. Visit the website you want to block and copy-paste its URL to the list to avoid mistakes and typos. Or find the site in the Reports, select it and click Block Site.
The most common reason is that the URL on your Blacklist list is not equal to the real website URL. For example, to block Gmail, you need to add to the list mail.google.com, but not gmail.com.
- Make sure you use the latest official version of HT Work Focus. An old version may not support the latest versions of browsers. To find your version, click Menu → About.
- Make sure that HT Work Focus is active — you can see the green color and the text "HT Work Focus is active" on the dashboard.
- Open Settings → General Settings and make sure that Run the program automatically is checked.
- Check Reports → Computer Time to ensure the program was not bypassed and worked all the time when the computer was turned on. Learn how to avoid program bypassing
- Check the Websites > History log. Find the website that was not blocked and check how it is displayed.

I Don’t Receive Email Reports
Open Settings → Email Reporting and click Send Test Report. Depending on the result, we have a few solutions.
First Case: You get a message about an error.
Second Case: The test is successful, but you do not receive the test email.
Third Case: You cannot find the email reports in the Spam folder.
Some email boxes filter emails on their entrance, so you could even not receive your report in spam. Instead, you have such or similar emails that also can be in spam — Mail delivery failed: returning message to the sender.

I Can’t Access the Remote Control
Please check the following:
- The monitored computer is turned on and online.
- Your computer and the monitored computer are on the same network.
- The name or IP address of the monitored computer was not changed. In the case of dynamic IP addresses, we recommend using the computer name as an address to access its remote dashboard.
- Your firewall does not block HT Work Focus on the monitored computer.

To protect the program from bypassing, we recommend doing the following:
- Set an access password for HT Work Focus — Menu → Set Password.
- Block access to important Windows options such as Task Manager, Control Panel, etc., with Rules → Enhanced Security.
- Hide HT Work Focus. To hide the program, open Settings → General Settings and select Hide the program. That will delete all program icons.
