How to Install HT Work Focus
- Download HT Work Focus and install it on your computer(s)/ laptop(s) you want to manage and monitor or your terminal server.
- For remote management on one network after the installation, download HT Remote Manager and install it on your admin computer.
The app begins automatically tracking all computer activity immediately upon installation. It is invisible to users as it works silently in the background.
How to Get Remote Management
If your admin computer and the monitored device(s) are on the same local network, you can remotely access all reports and manage rules with ease. HT Work Focus offers two convenient ways to do this:
- Using a web browser — access each computer’s dashboard directly via its local network address.
- Using HT Remote Manager — a dedicated desktop app that finds and connects to all online devices running HT Work Focus on your network.
Show Instructions for Option 1 (Browser Access)
Option 1: Access via Browser
- On the monitored computer, open HT Work Focus and go to 'Settings → Remote Access'.
- Copy the URL address shown in the tab.
- On your admin computer (connected to the same network), open a browser and paste the copied URL. Log in using the default credentials:

Option 2: Use HT Remote Manager App
- Install HT Remote Manager on your admin computer.
- Click Find Computer to automatically detect all online devices running HT Work Focus on the local network.
- If no device is found, click Add Computer and enter the URL from the monitored device’s 'Remote Access' tab.
- Select the needed computer from the list and log in with:
Default Login: admin
Default Password: admin

How to Access HT Work Focus
You can open HT Work Focus in a few ways:
- The first way is to use the keyboard shortcuts - Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Z.
- The second way, press the Windows key + R and enter the word focus into the Run Dialog.
- One more way to open HT Work Focus is from its installation folder — C:\Program Files (x86)\WF. Open the folder and double-click wmime.exe.

Use the export/import options to configure the software on multiple computers more efficiently.
Configure HT Work Focus on one computer
Configure the HT Work Focus rules and settings according to your preferences on one of the computers.
Export Your Settings to a File on a Flash Drive
Click Menu → Export Settings and save a file with your settings on a USB drive.
Import Your Settings to Other Computers
Open HT Work Focus on another computer, click Menu > Import Settings and select your file.
If your computers are on one network, you can do it remotely via HT Work Focus remote dashboard:
- Open HT Work Focus remote dashboard on one of the computers via a browser or HT Remote Manager.
- Click Export settings and save the file.
- Open other computer remote dashboards and import your settings — Import settings.

How to Update HT Work Focus
HT Work Focus works silently in the background and does not display any message, so it cannot be automated automatically. Please update it manually.
- To update, download the latest version from here https://ht-vector.com/download.
- Run the downloaded installer and install the new version over your old version. All your settings will remain intact after updating.
